Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam Photos and Video... One thing we had noticed is why people didn't get the real subtext and reason for the various roles and hence the title Dasavatharam... full story below plus few sexy clips from the movie..

Let's correlate this in the sense of film that gives only few features that character resembles and not to perfection like Vishnu Dasavatharas which is deep and elaborate, one even can take generations of life cycles to understand the true nature of Vishnu Dasavatharas which is related to the point of cosmic to soul evolution...

Well starting with the best adapted role of Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharas:

1. Kamal Hassan's Krishna avatar character is Vincent Poovaraghavan

Lord Sri krishna is actually a Kshatriya, he is dark-skinned (shyamalam) and was born for Vasudeva a Kshatriya king (in-law of Kamsa). He was just grown by Yashoda and Nandagopa who belonged to Yadava family. He saved Draupadi when she was being violated and he was the actual diplomat in Mahabharatham, always protects Yadavas. Lord krishna dies of an arrow striking his sole of his left leg(foot).

Now look at how Vincent Poovaraghavan was introduced.. he appears when Asin is about to be molested and he saves her like Draupadi. Vincent is the dalit diplomat, fights for land issue (soil issue to be exact) and dies from the metal rod striking his leg. Oh even five of vincent's men are drugged at P. Vasu's Film..

2. Kamal Hassan's Balarama avatar character is Balarama naidu

This is an easy given. as the name suggests and the role personifies you can easily get it.

3. Kamal Hassan's Mathsya avatar character is Ranagaraja nambi

Nambi is thrown into water in an act of trying to save lord from being thrown into sea, though vainly. what more clue do you want?

4. Kamal Hassan's Varaha avatar character is Krishnaveni Paatti

In Varaha avatar the lord protects earth. He brings back the life for earthly creatures by restoring the structure of earth which was submerged under sea waters and set back its rotation. Vedic tradition still maintains that the present earth rotates with the force sustained by the initial spin spun by Sri SHWETHA Varaha and hence the present cycle of years and yugas i.e. the Kalpa is named as SHWETHA VARAHA Kalpa.

Now Dasavatharam Film During the mukunda song, Krishnaveni Paatti does Varaha Avatar in the shadow puppetry. The frame freezes on it for a second there is the clue. Here krishnaveni hides the germs - life form inside the statue so as to protect.

5. Kamal Hassan's Vamana avatar character is Kalifulla Khan

Remember in Vamana avatar, lord Vishnu takes the vishvaroopa, that is the giant form! Hence the giant kalifulla here symbolises vamana avatar.

6. Parasurama avatar character is Christian Fletcher

Parasurama avatar - In every avatar the lord kills or destroys or weakens the evils directly or indirectly. Parasurama killed 21 generations of Kshatriyas with axe who were Evil's in character, but not all Kshatriyas in the World.

Coming to Kamal Hassan's character Christian Fletcher is real killer He comes around with the gun an modern upgrade for axe of Parasurama weapon and kills everyone around. I have to check if he kills 21 people though...

7. Kamal Hassan's Narasimha avatar character is Shingen Narahashi

First of all the name itself is a play on the words singam (means lion in tamil) and narasimha (the avatar being symbolised). Lord Narasimha manifests himself to kill the evil matured demon and he also teaches Prahaladha. In the movie, he shows up to kill the killer Fletcher! and is also a teacher.. Lord Narasimha had to kill the Asura with bare hands and hence the martial arts exponent here.. get it?

8. Kamal Hassan's Rama avatar character is Avatar Singh

Lord Rama stands for the one man one woman maxim, kind of symbolising true love.. Here Avatar portrays that spirit by saying that he loves his woman more than anything and wants to live for her.

9. Kamal Hassan's Kalki avatar character is Govindaraj Ramasamy.

As you know, the hero in Kaliyug can be none other than the Kalki avatar!!!

10. Kamal Hassan's Kurma avatar character is Bush

This is the most loose adaptation one couldn't clearly comprehend. But if you look at the real Kurma avatar, the lord is the turtle/tortoise that helps in churning the ksheera sagara and bringing out the amruth. This essentially destabilizes relations among the Devas and Asuras.

Similarly today Bush facilitates war between you know whom.. May be Kamal also indicates that this avatar is a bit too stubborn like the tortoise.
